So I have my own birthday party coming up soon and the theme is 'my hyperfixations'
and I don't do shit half assed so I started to sew a Spock shirt from TOS with all of the things I could find-
in part because I have no time for the shipping of costumes and the majority of what I could find online didn't look right.
here's the final yield and the materials... I am working on a low budget and only have a week and a half to finish this and seeing as I do not have access to a sewing machine everything will be hand sewn...
I also – instead of using an actual undershirt with a slightly higher collar – am sewing on the look of the undershirt.. both for sensory issues as well as lack of ability to find a good, fitting shirt.
I've currently got to the point where I am first sewing the collar together to then sew it to the shirt later... and I finished one seem but I guess I will be updating this post as this project goes along.
I want to emphasise that I am sewing everything by hand and am embroidering the Enterprise logo with the science department emblem on the shirt myself as well and have to hand sew on the ribbon I sourced as a "best I could find" for the ranking insignia on the sleeves~
