Jack => take up council with the rabbit
"..................."
It took you a good long while to actually get moving from the roof top, that being said it was when the night began to fade when you returned to the silent apartment you called your own. From this place you did not move, blinds shut and lights off. You needed some time to deal with this, these complex emotions that you had never had to deal with before. at times the sadness overwhelmed you, freezing you in place to stare at nothingness. At other times the confusion was the dominant feeling and you were left to deal with question after question that you couldn't possibly answer.
and then there was the rage. The overwhelming, overflowing amount of rage. It wasn't directed soley to the fact that, to you, she had up and left out of nowhere. It anger that she had not told you. That she had said nothing. That you had not seen something like this coming. the anger and rage consumed you, and you couldn't help but fly into violent fits and lash out at the world around you. furniture was broken. walls were slashed, stabbed and beaten. Yet as much as you destroyed, it still didnt help. The fits only stopped when you had nothing left in sight to break.
It lasted this way all through the daylight hours, the need to only move at night an inexplicable one as you took flight from your broken window. Off into the endless sea of twinkling lights and darkness you flew with no rhyme or reason. You didn't descend, even with ample opportunity to vent out your frustrations on unsuspecting people down below. You just... flew. And flew. and flew, to gods knows where.
Somehow, you drew away from the dark skies above and headed down below, unconsciously following something..a scent. a familiar scent you knew all to well. The scent of a person you knew, a person that for some reason tolerated your presence. A person that taught you in recent months and tone of the extremely few people that you'd (never openly admitted of course) trust.
The front door was ignore when you arrived, your body melding with the shadows to slip in quietly through the cracks and reforming once you were inside. From there, well... you just stood there, unsure what to do or why you came into this place.
