Had to draw a new page background pattern for Technicolor OCT pages.
The amount of work I have to do for the last issue has had me paralyzed all year. I’ve been dragging my feet on it once I realized just how much I had to do.
I’m still not eager to get going on it.
There’s just... there’s SO MUCH, and every page is a frustrating pain in the ass to draw. D:
TTOCT: Round 5 P20 by Phantosanucca
I finally finished this stupid fucking page after 5 months. 5 months of trying to draw a single line, it not being drawn right, erasing, drawing again, having to erase again, over and over and over until I got so mad that I gave up. A few weeks later I’d try again.
Suddenly TODAY it only took about half an hour to finish. I don’t know why it co-operated with me today and not the last 150 days.
Look at how fucking simple this page is. It should NOT be this frustrating!
TTOCT: Round 5 P17 by Phantosanucca
It took me since May of this year to get around to finishing this page, just because I hated how it was turning out. No matter how much I tried to make it work, it just... didn’t. It wouldn’t. I couldn’t even think about drawing for months because of how frustrated I was about how this one kept turning out.
So fuck it, here’s another shitty page by another shitty artist.

Tried the Dissolve feature on the default Photoshop brush. I like the way it looks close up, but it doesn’t translate well when I have to shrink the image. So I probably won’t do that for these pages anymore.
Happy birthday, Pitafish!
Who doesn’t want a cartoon frog lurking in their birthday cake? Amphibians aside, hope its a good one!
