OKAY BUT LISTEN: you can control a raptor’s feet by pulling the middle front + back toe away from each other because there are tendons in the feet that lock into place. It doesn’t hurt the bird at all but when you do it makes the most awful sounding noise on the face of the planet, like a horrible organic zip-tie getting pulled

also if you put your hand in the center of the foot and the bird clamps down you probably will need to go to the ER so the careful awkward foot-touch is required

Hello, just wondering why artists are snobs for asking people not to use a tag that upsets them severely? It's their work, from the characters to the time put in to draw it. I'm not sure why they're snobs for asking that people ask if it's okay before tagging it as themselves?

I just think its a bit touchy. Oh no someone really identifies with your art, how terrible. They’re making no claim that its their art, just that they identify with the drawing. I think everyone just gets kinda over the top on this site at times. Everyone just needs to take a few deep breaths and chill.

why does someone saying "ew otherkin" deserve to have their hard work and time disrespected and used for something they are vehemently against, wouldn't just ignoring their work and unfollowing/not reblogging them suffice. Why give them the notes or recognition?

Ah see. While that would be the better, nicer route. It just doesn’t stick well with me.

The thought doesn’t sit well, like i mentioned before. And I am very bitter with such things. 

But that’s just me personally. 

I’m not otherkin nor do I try to be, so what i say or do shouldn’t be associated with any kin who would feel otherwise.

WHILE I AM UNDERSTANDING OF WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM, I AM ALSO GLAD THAT YOU EXIST

mostly I just feel like... these poor children, they’re going to be raised by an ignorant outspoken bigot and will probably internalize a lot of it and are likely to grow up to be equally ignorant outspoken bigots. I can only hope that they don’t.
