Technics brand to return? No mention of 1200s
The absence of something is the perfect trick to get ourselves to desire it even more. The good old Technics 1200’s have served their humble purposes for many years now. Old and new DJs alike know the value of getting a good pair of turntables that do their job without complaint. Modern turntables can rack up the added features and performance value – but they will never be able to add up all of the years that a 1200 turntable has performed before their very existence. When Panasonic announced that the 1200 line would be discontinued – this only drove up the price of these turntables wildly. Imagine if that were all just a hoax and they were right around the corner with a new product ready to go. Wouldn’t that be something? There have been some rumors spreading about their return, but at the end of the day it is just talk. Nobody knows for sure if they are going to be creating turntables again, let alone the Technics 1200. Those who already own this piece of history have little to fear.
