So I have a little altar to my Big God on my phone - like really it's just a folder full of images, nothing special, just something for if I ever need a focus or to remind me of him. I had this necklace I bought from a garage sale, and I wanted to wear it but I also wanted to cleanse it first, because, well, garage sale. And I also thought it might be nice to dedicate it to the Big G because symbolism. I could have just waited until I got home, but frankly I have the memory of a toothbrush and if I didn't do something then it would just sit in my backpack for another six months, possibly being all astrally funky. So I got out my phone, laid the necklace over an image of the Big G, and with the necklace between him and my request, asked him to cleanse it and take it to be used in his service. And I think it worked. So there you go, technodevotion on the go. No less formal than a quick crossing of the self, is it?
