My Children's Story was so good I had 2nd graders begging for me to keep the book there. It was too sweet. Future Tech Teacher is basically done. The Teacher is in my blood.

Small Rant...kinda

So I'm very upset, and have been for the past two days. Over the weekend I was at a conference for my club, TSA. Last year I was in this club and only got a semifinalist in one event the entire competition year. I didn't even do this event, I just said I had to help with it. I even wrote a children's book last year and it was disqualified because of the way it was drawn. Yesterday, my mother said "I don't want you going to another TSA event because I know you work extremely hard on what you do, but you never ever get any recognition and I feel really bad for you about it and I don't want you to be upset and beat yourself up about TSA all the time". I thought about this. I have already done three competitive events this year, and with one of them I actually hurt myself really bad and might have broke something (that happened Friday). I have decided I don't want to go to the State Competition this year. Even though I have so much fun going to these things. Also, I'm upset because I take a yearbook class and I am the only underclassmen who works in that class. My dad is the advisor of the Yearbook class. The editor in chief is my best friends older sister. The editor says to me over the weekend on a Facebook Group chat, that my dad can see, she says "You don't know how to write captions Grace". Not even an hour after this, she sends this huge text about how no underclassmen can write. I've been writing on a forum for 4-5 years. This really upset me. Then my older sister was like "Ya Grace you write like shit". She's published a poetry book but it takes her a month to write an essay for College. I'm just really upset right now and I skipped school today because I hurt and I'm upset.
