how they control...
Feels damn exhausted, after those two hours swimming activity :( It has been a month since the last time I swam. That's why my bones and muscle didn't want to cooperate well and left a heavy backache up to now. Need to sleep soon. Otherwise, I won't ever make to my kid's class this evening. I love swimming since I was in Junior High School and I started that habit again a few months ago with some friends who do love to swim as well. We goes swim every two weeks, that's the plan. But, sometimes, the plan was canceled due to another business, another activities that we have to do at the same day. We always swim in one place, our favorite place, inside one luxurious estate, one glamorous resident, one of the best in our city. We had never swam in the other place since we have already loved that particular pool so much. It is quiet and shady. The waiter's always clean and the keeper is kind and nice. What could be better? But, there's one problem that sometimes occurs during us doing swimming there. That's about the electricity. When the electricity is off due to the electrical shutdown the water inside the bathroom can't flow. That leads to a disaster, we can't take a bath after swim. How horrible! Since our swimming pool is located in one luxurious real estate in town, the modern appliance is being installed in any aspect, including the installment of electrical wire to support the clean water drainage. It is different with what happen outside that estate, where people get the water from the public water services. In this estate, electricity do have a control of anything, including the water. That's only one example of how big is the role of electricity to our life nowadays. If we want to ask to ourselves, can we live without it??? Can we make a distance with the usage of electrity?? If yes, then why the ancient human could live long without the electrity??? We have never realized that our life has got really attached with electricity: light, bulb, and so on. The richer we get, the more we need those. That's the fact. More money that we have lead us to be more consumptive, especially in satisfying our "technology needs". Since Benjamin Franklin, Alessandro Volta and Thomas Alva Edison invented so many things that is known as the rising of the electricity evolution, our daily activities was eased by the help of technology, we get used to the technology without realizing how we had became less independent. Just like in such an estate, a luxurious one. When there's no electricity we can't get the water to take a bath. Is it possible that fifty or hundred years again, we can't eat without it as well?? Beware, be wise... ^^
