Don’t let the smile fool you, this picture was taken [on Snapchat] seconds before my phone decided that it would just give me a black screen when trying to use my camera 📸. I’ll admit, I got angry. This happens WAY TOO OFTEN where my phone let me take pictures, my battery drains to quickly, or some other technology glitch. But then I thought about it more - why am I actually angry? It turns out, I was angry because our world has become so technology dependent that something like a post-workout selfie has become something I feel I HAVE to do. But does a selfie change my workout? No. Does a selfie prove I worked out? No, I know I did. So then I left it. If I don’t get the perfect pose, don’t get to post videos today, and don’t have to be attached to my phone my life isn’t going to end or change dramatically. I need to be more intentional about breaking up with technology. - - - - #iphoneglitch #technologydependent #gymselfiesfordays #fittherapy #purpleleggings
