ok your modern au post makes me want to throw my own modern au concept at you to see if you have jojoburger thoughts about it: Joseph instead of getting obsessed with photography gets obsessed with VHS tapes! Capturing not only the figure but also the motion makes it even more life like. Instead of the camera world and his camera he gets stuck inside a specific vhs tape, if someone played this vhs tape he'd then kind of infect their analog technology, mayhaps project himself in the glow of the tv Interested in what you think would happen if frederick found and used the vhs tape 👀

Yeah I really liked the idea I drew a comic of it. :D Frederick playing vhs tapes in a dark room for the vibes haha. I also think Joseph's projection lasts as long as the tv doesn't get turned off. So yeah Frederick #notices and gets jumpscared but turns off the tv immediately.

ultra rarepair time! this is from the 2nd main story fic in my wen ning/zhuzhi-lang (coldhands) series

Zhuzhi-lang hesitated before he captured Wen Ning’s dry lips with his own. He had never kissed anyone before and the movement felt new, clumsy. The expected awkwardness mixed with the desperate need to pretend he knew what he was doing.  He became very aware of his hands. Should he cup Wen Ning’s face between his palms or maybe let them rest at Wen Ning’s hips? Should he close his eyes?  Wen Ning's deep black eyes were still open…but he never really blinked in the first place.

oooh this is tough but i'm gonna go with How to Catch a Mer-Snake (No Net Required!) because i wanted to post it before the end of May but i had almost no time to write that month and i managed to crank out the last 3k in a day, which may not seem like a lot to some of you but i'm a slow writer. also gongzhi cute <3

finished reading the latest chapter ( adhd meant it took like 7 sittings cause i kept having to get up to pace to think ) and I need to share the idea of someone giving him a teether shaped like a frog (( probably lbh or tlj ))

i bet they would find/make him a really nice one too. i've seen some teething toys that also have little silicone buttons that are good for stimming and i think zzl would like that a lot 🥰

Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?

depends on the fic! all of my long fics are ones that i've outlined in some capacity but if it's a short oneshot or an introspective thing then i'll just write and see what happens asdfghjkl
