There was something that could be close to a sickening joy to see this coyote again, and alone no less of all things. It was like a spider getting a second chance to get their fly back into it’s thrall that were the webs. A familiar sound would be heard as the night have filled the void that was the day, leaving only those that lurk in these hours to thrive.

A voice would speak out in this darkness, like a predator chatting with prey. It was a very calm and yet sinister expression. “Didn’t your parents warn you of staying out this late? All sorts of trouble lurks in these shadows~”
