Razer Naga Epic Gaming Mouse
The Razer Naga Epic Gaming Mouse is another embodiment of a mouse by the same company except that this version is wireless. It comes with a rechargeable battery that can be charged whilst attached to the computer by the 7 foot long USB cable.
The best thing about the wireless Naga is that there are programmable side thumb buttons; 12 in all that light up like a mobile phone dial pad.
Programming the buttons is simplicity itself and a quick visit to the manufacturer’s website will ensure the most recent drivers and software profile packages are downloaded for use.
Like its original, the Razer Naga is primarily built for players of MMO games; the customizable buttons being ideal for setting different functions for control during a game. Battery life for the mouse is quoted at around 12 hours non-stop and 72 hours normal usage, and with the ability to be charged while in normal use, this makes the Naga a good alternative to the cabled version.
Unlike the original, the Naga Epic Mouse changes back light color and lights up the under the palm logo but that is a small difference. This mouse is suited for right handed users and will sit comfortably in most hand sizes.
Taking the package as a whole though, the mouse is more expensive than the corded version and unless it is vital for you to have wireless control then it is advised that the original is a better option because it has the same functionality as the wireless mouse but is $35 cheaper – a fairly big saving.
So whichever way you decide to take, selecting a gaming mouse from Razer will not see you disappointed and if you are really into MMO games then this is the mouse for you.
