Hej, I am back.
Started from yesterday after my first post, I listened to a podcast, TED Interview Podcast, where Chris Anderson interviewed my favorite psychologist, Daniel Kahnerman. He mentioned two concepts in the interview, first which was in his book, “Thinking Fast and Slow”, about System 1 and System 2. The second concept was two selves concept, Experiencing self and Remembering Self. That was the part where I found a connection between Buddhism concept of mindfullness an "Annata-non-self” in science.
At the end of the interview, Chris Anderson asked Danny, If there is one Idea that he would like inject to the mind of all of people, what will it be? And Danny answered this:
“Don’t trust yourself too much. Don’t trust an idea and belief just because you can’t imagine another alternative to them. Overconfidence is really the enemy of good thinking. And I wished (unclear) that humility about our belief could spread.”
After listened to the podcast, I learned some basics of ANSYS. Since ANSYS consist of three step, Geometry drawing - Model input - Meshing, I decided to focus on the geometry drawing using SpaceClaim. Too bad that I didn’t get any solidworks training back then during my bachelor. Anyways, I started by learning the basics tool, selection tool, pull tool, move tool, fill tool, and combine tool. By the way, I learned ANSYS just before I slept and after I woke up.
Then I continued to learned svenska. The text I read was about “du” and “ni”. really wished that I could started to write in svenska for my post :).
Just before I wrote this post, I continued my online course in edX about Six-Sigma. It was about DEFINE the problem, the first part of DMAIC processes. There was an interesting model called Kano model to map three kind of quality, essential quality, peformance quality and delighted quality.
By the way, today I cooked basic stir fry, leek with yellow and red onion stir fried with rapeseed oil with little of sugar, salt and soy-sauce, for my dinner together with an egg.
