Dance like everyone's watching
With the proliferation of dance shows on network TV one of the most exciting categories at the Emmys is Best Choreography. At least I think so. The Emmy ceremony people, not so much. In fact I think it's actually presented at the technical ceremony.
This year, although three So You Think You Can Dance choreographers are nominated, the program's boy wonder - Travis Wall - is nominated for a routine he and Teddy Forance put together for Dancing With The Stars called Without You:

The SYTYCD trio, from the looks of it, have been nominated for their body of work over the season. First there's Stacey Tookey, a contemporary choreographer:

Stacey is Canadian and has created for SYTYCD on both sides of the border and has danced for/learned from Mia Michaels, much like Travis Wall did.
Christopher Scott is the next to represent, with two hip hop routines:

Rounding out the posse is Spencer Liff:

Please Mr. Jailor: http://youtu.be/eGhM3er1RoM

Spencer's routines are generally Broadway themed or flavored as that's where he got his start.
The wildcard is Joshua Bergasse, who's been choreographing Smash for NBC. His routines are:

and Never Met a Wolf, which I could only find on YouTube in lyric or just audio format.
It's hard to compare Bergasse's stuff to the raw dance routines, but as I am beginning to appreciate contemporary more, I'm going to say Wall or Tookey will take it.
Fingers crossed. But not taking bets.
