it was QUIET -- for a second, she couldn’t even believe that she was home considering the lack of noise, it was a boisterous home, but what molly had forgotten was despite it being the summer, she had a fully working family. her father at the ministry and she knew her mum was in for a long day at mungos -- molly couldn’t imagine spending the entire day by herself, especially with the twins off doing godric knows what -- it had been a quick owl to teddy, a basic plea for company. she knew she was being RIDICULOUS, it had barely been a few days and here she was suffering from separation anxiety. she was just about to tend to her pie in the oveN when she heard a noise -- specifically knocking. a frown toyed at her lips as she grabbed her wand that she left on the counter top, edging slowly toward the door -- she glanced at the family clock, her parents and brothers were still out and teddy was always fashionably late. or that’s what he called his blatant TARDINESS --
peaking through the window, “oh for godrics sake --” she huffed as she whipped the door open to find edward tonks on time, “since when did you decide to actually show up on time? or well five minutes early -- your punctuality nearly gave me a heart attack, teddy” tugging him in before she hugged him fiercely. shoving down the worry that it would be her name in the papers next -- molly couldn’t deny that she had never felt more unsafe -- she couldn’t imagine how the boy in her arms felt.
