My dear wife, by now, has already recognized the signature of our previous Central Bank Governor, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Ali Abul Hassan Bin Sulaiman. So when she got this piece from an ATM at the mall earlier this evening, she called me instantly to give me the good news. By God! I couldn't wait to get home to see it for myself :-) What's so interesting about this particular Governor's signature? Well here's another #TedMosbyArchitect #notaphily fun fact. Ali Abul Hassan's Governorship was brief. How brief? He was Governor for the Central Bank from September 1998 - April 2000. So unlike other Governors, Ali Abul Hassan (AAH) didn't get to sign as many #MalaysiaBankNotes . Thus making #BankNotes of his time a classic case of... something old, something blue (it is) and something RARE! While this note has been heavily used and circulated for some time, the fact that AAH signature is on it, makes it worth keeping. #currency #MalaysiaCurrency #Ringgit
