theyre digging a grave, in the cemetery by my apartment today. i can see it through my sliding glass door

it feels... different. seeing them prepare the space instead of just knowing they probably are

so i lit one of my unused candles for the deceased, and for the living that they left behind. ill be doing a ritual later with some of the bread i made, its still proving, as a offering to Thanatos

they may not have been the best person, this body theyre laying to rest today, but everyone deserves kindness

what is it called when you have a deity that's decided to walk with you, but isn't exactly a patron? like you've not entered any kind of agreement, there wasn't anything really discussed

you just... know they're there. you know they've decided to take your hand and walk with you for the moment, as you face what's ahead

seeing posts about christopagans and following the "Christian Pantheon" and stuff... is really confusing as someone that grew up a "evengelical/nondenominational christian"

because youre taught your whole life, you cant be both. there is no sitting on the fence, youre either for God and Jesus and Only following them, or youre evil and going to hell

seeing that there is a possibility of having both worlds... embracing the idea that what modern day christians say is gospel is in fact something you have to decide for yourself... that the Bible is a work of man just like anything else, divinely inspired certainly, but not the explicit "word of God"...
