I've been suffering from the midwinter blues... And I figured I might not be the only one... So I've made a list of ways to help you get through the shlump (that is totally a word)... But first...
DANCE PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously. Dance.
It does not matter if you are bobbing your head or dancing around your room...
Just have fun...

Okay. If you wish to continue dancing but don't want to be singing "Stop. Hammer time" for the rest of the day here are a few links with lists of happy songs for your dancing and smiling needs. (I also have a dance party playlist on my blog.)
Since dancing isn't actually a permanent cure to the midwinter blues, here are a few other thing you can do:
1. Drink orange juice. Part of the reason people feel down during the winter is because they don't get enough sunlight which usually provides us with some all important Vitamin D.
2. Don't have orange juice? Here is a list of other ways to get your daily Vitamin D.
3. Go outside whenever there is a random warm(er) day. Seriously. Walk around the block or something. I promise tumblr will be here when you get back.
4. Exercise. Yes. I did just say exercise. I know I keep saying things that aren't tumblr-friendly, but the midwinter blues are less fun than walking for 30 minutes a day.
5. Make time to do something fun. Life is busy but your health is important so set aside some time to let loose and relax.
