Today we celebrate Teej Festival in India. Traditionally, the festival of Teej is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. On the day of Teej, women dress beautifully in green sari and and wear green bangles, which is said to be the colour of the festival. In some parts of India, they also get together and listen folklore of Shiva and Parvati Women generally observe whole day fast and worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati for conjugal bliss and for happy married life.
