so like not to toot my own horn but

OK SO I JUST LISTENED TO THE DISMEMBERMENT SONG AND HAD A FIC IDEA STICK WITH ME HERE

ok so like it’d be a medic/heavy fic because I’m fucking predictable, but it’d center on their BLU team counterparts and basically it’d start off with BLU Heavy being frustrated that BLU Medic can’t just like chill (because I really like the hc that blue med is a lot more, like, serious and work driven then red med) and it’s like effecting their ~relationship~ outside of work (like heavy’s tryin’a put on the moves and ask him out on dates and stuff and medic is just like oh, I can’t I have to check on the blood samples I took from you all in your sleep to make sure the mold in teufort isn’t literally killing you) and heavy’s understandably frustrated

but then like Heavy gets kidnapped/ captured by the reds and gets handed over to red medic who, like his canonical counterpart is all down for both fun times and live dissection (enter the dismemberment song inspo) and it’s like a race for the BLU’s to break into the red base and get their boy back before he gets gutted and all the while Heavy’s just like ‘y’know, actually, my medic is perfectly fine the way he is, if he ever loosened up he’d probably act exactly like the red medic which would be terrifying’

and you know naturally blu would make it in time to save heavy, the medics would have a 1v1 duel because that shit’s always cool and during it blu medic would probably start acting like red medic and it’d be super creepy. red medic would probably be able to overpower blu medic and it’d be all tense and dramatic but then heavy would intervene and then together they’d be able to beat up red med and then escape with the rest of their team (or at least the ones who hadn’t been killed and then respawned back at blue base) and then at the very end blu med asks heavy out on a date and it’s cute the end

(bonus points to myself if I’m able to include a bit where when blu med is trying to get thru the red base he runs into red heavy but red heavy like,,, turns a blind eye to let medic get past him because like,,, he gets it.)
