if you've followed me for a long time, maybe you've seen this gal before! my first dnd character, tegan! and in honor of us winning in the final battle of the campaign yesterday, i've redrawn her designs throughout the years <3

we've got an epilogue next (TRIPLE WEDDING????) so i still have time to get my mushy feelings down, but this group and this game has meant so much to me. i went from being 3 years younger than tegan to 5 years older. time sure flies!!!

my groupmates are some of my best friends; we don't talk as much as we used to when we were teenagers and had all the time in the world, but somehow, that is more reassuring to me. no matter how busy we get, we always come back to each other. life can be chaotic, i can feel like total shit, and five minutes with them im laughing so hard i get sick and nothing else matters.

well, i didn't mean to ramble on, especially under a picture with a censored naked half- elf, lol. im still just. amazed and relieved we've gotten to this point. my first dnd game, and the first campaign that's finished, not just fizzled out or been canceled. incredible <3

just downloaded the free trail of paint tool sai so to break it in i did some headshots of most of my ttrpg pcs (mostly d&d with one monster of the week)

quick breakdown of who they are under the cut for those who aren’t familiar:

tegan, sami, & karasa are all in the same world, karasa for a side game.  -tegan is a half-elf life domain cleric but her stealth score is higher than our rogues bc of her past. she was the first pc for that campaign but she tapped out for awhile and was replaced by sami. -sami is an aasimar oath of ancients paladin. sami recently left to go make a life for himself (aka seek out a relationship with an npc) and tegan recently returned with a s2 outfit change. -karasa (lord karasa the unkillable hehe) is a tiefling bardlock (hexblade warlock + college of lore bard multiclass). they were a pirate and now they’re a reluctant aunt figure. tragic backstory, makes a lot of power moves. was shanked by a child. 

-henriette was a pc in a campaign but i took over dm’ing so she’s an npc now. human fighter/barbarian, knight in shining armor. kicked a tree in half. rapunzel-esque backstory + romeo & juliet past romance that resulted in a secret kid. the secret was revealed so i dont feel bad about saying it here.

-rowan’s the monster of the week guy. he’s a fence inspector ;) goes by eric diesel or frankie ‘jet’ jets. can read minds. gets whomped every session. loves his boys.

- stick, petal, and maya are oneshot pcs. it’s a system i don’t feel like explaining. stick was a shifter barbarian but he died. petal is a wood elf monk but i stopped using her cause i didn’t ~vibe~ with her which is a shame bc her design slaps. maya is a half-elf eldritch knight. she’s 16 years old and lawful evil. is out to get power and enact personal vengeance. her design is fun too and playing her is fun bc she’s nasty.

i had one dwarf fighter in early 2017 but i dont remember her well enough to draw her. and most recently i have an npc who’s functioning like a player character in an active game. but i ran out of drawing steam. his name is noel, he’s a human barbarian. basic boy with good stats.
