The finale made me feel like they spent all their budget on the last 11 episodes. The Flagship Kai Wo pretty much dying off screen was just unforgivable. Still had fun with it, but it was a bit of a let down.

the hell of it is we waited so long for THIS CROCK EPISODE. WE THREW A FIT OVER WANTING TO SEE THIS ASSPULL FINALE SOONER AND THAT IS JUST AMAZING.

I think I heard that the anime bombed HARD in japan, so they didn’t even send them a script for the dub. They basically just said “Do whatever the fuck you want” and we got this absolute master piece.

I'd heard that the subbed version was actually serious yeah, but I can never ever watch it because i will never be able to take this anime seriously after seeing the dub

As somebody who’s been in a lot of beta tests for things, it can be a case by case basis sometimes. Like some said that, yes, you could acknowledge what it was and you were in it, but some you couldn’t say a THING, even that you were in it.

Weird, seems like quite an annoying little thing to deal with...
