Celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge RTÉ Radio's Drama on One are broadcasting a double-bill of drámaí gaeilge, the first of which features Maria Doyle Kennedy.
Brian Ó Tiomáin's Teiripe (Therapy) centres around two characters, and speaking to RTÉ TEN Tudors star Doyle Kennedy said: "I'm playing the part of Susan and in a couple with Caitríona [Ní Mhurchú] whose playing Irene.
"We're having some problems in our relationship so we went to see Martin [played by Denis Conway] so we can sort them out.
Susan and Irene, played by Caitríona Ní Mhurchú. It's clear from the get go that there is tension between the two – the issue lies in that fact that after ten years together, Irene wants to get married. Susan, however, is in no rush. Susan reminds her that they've discussed all of these issues with their therapist Martin, played by Denis Conway and they've a big decision to make.
