Mr. Teisl, Dean of Student Life and Discipline
Mr. Teisl described himself as “an Ignatius high school student” as a seventeen-year-old. He dreamed of being a professional soccer player, and was most influenced by his track coach. Overtime, his coach made him take a look at himself and make changes to better his character. He planned to get a good job, get married, and have kids. This plan didn’t change much, except in the job department where he decided to pursue education. For Mr. Teisl, age seventeen meant working two jobs. He lived in Cleveland, Ohio but dreamed of being in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Retrospectively speaking, he wishes he would have paid more attention in his classes and set more concrete goals.
