What game do you think has the best character models for showing the right kind of tes elf alien-ness? They’re all quite a bit different and I know you’re pretty passionate about it!
It's gotta be somewhere between Morrowind and Skyrim, I don't really know how to explain it but I drew Teldryn as a little exercise lol.
Morrowind is really dated with its graphics, but I love the strange vibes the elves have, their features are very angular, and also love that they have massive ears compared to any of the other games. And they got piercings too! Why can't elves have massive ears with piercings? But Skyrim captures the alien-ness really well, hands down, something about the eyes and brows and wrinkles is just perfect to me lol. I know the newer games try to follow this same vibe, but I think they're trying to appeal too much to the audience and make them look pretty, which is ironically a turn off for me haha. Least favourite gotta be 2006 Oblivion, like, yeah I love that game, but please, for the love of all things divine, don't peel my potato elves. Even Daggerfall made them look better???
