Director, photographer, writer, multi-media artist and journalist…it’s hard to describe what JJS is in a succinct way. Perhaps ‘visual wizard’ might cut it. It was her videos for Geneva Jacuzzi that first lured me into her work and the world of Telefantasy Studios. Her commitment to a very analog method of film production won my heart. She works very honestly in delivering feeling through video. The direction, effects and editing give a sense of untold truth, in performance and delivery, that I so appreciate.

    Music vids aside, her video art is breathtaking — always mixing the world of analog and modern technology for beautiful, thoughtful visual sighs.
