It’s difficult to think about what his life could’ve been in relation to the things that led up to this point in time. He believes things could’ve been DIFFERENT if, perhaps, he’d stayed with his original family.

It’s certainly hard to comprehend the decisions that had been made when the outcome had been the SAME as if they hadn’t given him away at all: The PARASITE got into his brain and dictated everything he did, took control. The chance to push it away would’ve been bigger if the ones that knew it’s origins would’ve had the courage to raise him as their own, RIGHT ?

She understood. Completely. His reaction, his anger, it was understandable with the presence of her mental abilities. Being overly empathetic could be good sometimes, yes. But still, it hurt her. The way he snapped when she didn’t posses any guilt; it made her feel unsettled, It got a little out from his hands, but still, she’d be there. Because she cared. Zoe always cared. Specially with someone like Francis, that she took pleasure in knowing. “O-Oh no, it’s- Don’t worry,” She stopped for a second, the girl didn’t even realize her first words to make him halt his snapping. They slipped from her mouth without further notice. “I understand you. Just… It’s okay.” Controlling emotions was hard, indeed, specially with all related to rage. Another reason why she’d be there for him.

there’s a sense of shock when she doesn’t yell at him. he’s always been one to get attached entirely too quickly, but he’s also come to expect everyone to leave once he shows any sort of negative emotion. it feels surreal, almost unbelievable. she almost seems calm about the whole thing. she’s shown him nothing but kindness since the moment they spoke ( a miracle really ), it feels unbelievable. ❝ are you sure? ❞ his brows furrow and with a moment of hesitation, he steps closer. ❝ because----because i truly didn’t mean to, ❞ a pause as he thinks of how to phrase it, ❝ i didn’t mean to come off so strong or make you uncomfortable in any way. ❞
