It’s been a year and a half and I was asked to redraw these characters along with several others. While most of the time could’ve been better used, this last month was the slowest, most productive month I’ve ever had... probably because I played games less and we all know a few league games can eat up the entire day. I made a head mannequin out of clay, painted my longboard, went outside a good deal more, etc.
I’d say I could probably finish two characters in the time it took to finish one before.

I’ve never done an autumn-ish scene before, but the colors really appealed to me. I need to have this bravery when it comes to non-orange colors. Part of the fun of painting is seeing how crazy you can go before it looks off, and I feel like I need to go crazier instead of staying in the safe area of color.
