News | Cio d’Or forthcoming releases on Semantica and Telrae

I just couldn’t not spend a few words on one of my most respected techno artists, one of today’s techno legends, a powerful lady whose contribution to techno is andoubted. Cio d’Or who has kept quite for a while is back with two records, All In All [Semantica73] and Off And On [Telrae026].

All In All, due for release in late-April, is her second album. It consists of three four-track chapters: after and before, floor X and yocta to yotta. It'll come out in mid-April on a twelve-track CD and a double 12-inch featuring after and before and floor X. Yocta to yotta will get its own vinyl release about a month later.D'Or has also prepared a shorter, ambient-oriented special edition CD as part of the album project, and an EP of remixes is in the works as well. Off And On is already available at decks.de and other online stores. Her Track >OFF< describes a biotope in which two different poles gently collide. Rooms of reverb meet orchestral sounds meet acoustic clicks, in a process of an ongoing motion, where there is no beginning and no end. The flip side highlights >AND ON< shows white horses amids the waves of sounds. This track could be an electronic soundtrack to a day at an isolated beach in the indian ocean.
