The Bird
----- Mirodis walked quietly through the woods (well, as quiet as a dead guy can.) He was completely oblivious to the fact he was being followed. After a while, a hand touched his shoulder and he turned around to see a young Blood elf standing in front of him with a big goofy grin on his face. He whispered something about his name being... Telthras?
Mirodis was confused by the boy's presence, but there was a more pressing matter at hand. The giant, horrifying creature behind him. If Mirodis had normal bodily functions like the living, he would have probably shit himself in terror.
The creature was enormous. It's wings pounding the air sounded like thunder. It's beak was razor sharp and opened and closed with what Mirodis mistook as hunger. The poor young blood elf stood there, baffled, as the older death knight turned and ran like hell.
Telthras ran after Mirodis, his bird following close behind.
After a while, Telthras gave up and sat on the ground. His companion flew off to get something to eat, leaving the poor distraught boy alone. The bush next to him rusted and Mirodis stuck his head out from under neath it. He looked at the young elf and questioned him, "is that monster gone?"
Telthras gave him a look of confusion.
"Did you see that? He went right for my good ear. Damn, dirty bird..."
Telthras looked at him for a long moment and smiled and thought to himself: "The poor old man doesn't hate ME. He's just afraid of birds!" -----
