i'm in shock from all the canucks news from today... i don't know if i like anything i'm seeing so far..

same, I don't think anyone is. I think everyone's a bit confused, too.

i'm still trying to process everything lu has said, as gillis about cody, the team since the boston game, the coaching. A lot of the problems during the stretch from January on were overlooked by goaltending, and idk it almost doesn't come as a surprise to me. It was such an odd season, imo. 

also i feel gillis has been sending mixed messages about what he wanted with this team. he said he still wanted an uptempo style of hockey, but acquired kassian and bottom 6 D at the trade dead line. from then they regressed to a more defensive style that failed. they'll need to fix this identity crisis and re-invent their style of play.
