hi! i would love to make a podfic for “quick, he needs more hockey!” - i saw in your ao3 bio that you’ve established blanket podfic permission, but wanted to follow up and ask about the privacy settings for a potential podfic. since the original work is locked/for users only, i’m wondering if you want the podfic to also be for users only? this would be my first podfic contribution so i want to be sure i’m not stepping on any toes. thanks for writing such a fun story!!
Hey! Super excited to hear you want to podfic quick! I would prefer that it be locked/for users only but I don't require it. The main reasons I lock are because of AI scraping and bot comments. AI scraping is less likely for auditory/pod fics and I won't be the one getting the bot comments. Which is to say, if you feel super strongly about having it unlocked, you can, but it's not my preference. I do require that you don't use AI in the making of the podfic (which I know is in my permission statement, but wanted to reiterate just to be on the safe side -- super sure you wouldn't!) Super excited to listen to what you do with it!
