jae - a lot of people wouldn’t think so, but yeah;; it was with, or i guess, towards sirius. he didn’t really recognize it at first because it just seemed too strange && in some ways, he wasn’t even aware that he was capable of feeling romantic love && that it was either fake or... kind of useless i guess. but with sirius, he feels like someone actually understands him && he’d do anything for him. so if there’s any definition of love that he understands, that’s it.
tiernan - gosh, the boy has definitely had crushes before, on various people in his school, but he’s never really acted on them. part of it is because he’s too shy && he doesn’t think anyone would ever be interested in him in return. the other is that he’s... likely not straight && he’s still trying to figure out that part of him && isn’t really sure what to do with those feelings

aramis - oh god he is so bad at saying i love you. but he always asks things like ‘ are you okay? ’ && ‘ do you want to talk about it? ’ even though he’s so bad at talking about his own feelings/ he’s also relatively good at reading other people, so he’ll do little things like prepare food or do things the other person likes without their asking
tzvi - he always says i love you because he doesn’t feel like it’s taboo—&& it really shouldn’t be. that being said, he enjoys physical contact && always hugs people he loves && leaves them messages, both handwritten && over the phone. he’s also always thinking about others, so he often buys little gifts—usually little trinkets—&& leaves it for the people he loves
finley - if you want emotionally constipated, it is so definitely finn. that being said, he shows love in silent ways, like unquestioningly holding people close if they ask or doing things he knows are familiar to the other person if they’re upset. if he knows what the problem is, he’ll also try to find ways to solve it

roman - his last serious relationship was with emma, tbh, because he’s been so scared of hurting other people since. but he really loved emma && they hung out all the time. but they also worked through shit; he would talk about his feelings && she would talk about hers. in terms of really building his eq/comfort with emotions, emma really opened him up
apollo - as it is, apollo is a really confident guy who’s comfortable in his own skin, so he often looks for people like him in that regard, for significant others. his last serious relationship would be probably in junior year, with his girlfriend jasmine. they were always supportive of each other && saw each other often. that being said, they eventually broke up because their friend groups && social circles were splitting way too far apart to really stay together
ying - ....his last serious relationship is with his wife, peishan, who he met while studying at columbia. they met while studying physics together && he just loved how clever she was. peishan is also not afraid of speaking her mind && if she thinks ying is being a stupid FUCK, she’s not afraid to tell him. even so, there’s a lot of trust to their marriage && while they’re not dependent, life is always a little better when they’re together.
