We are so honored to share you this inspirational news. A few weeks ago, a group of high school students who formed Helping Hands Organization from Temple City High School set up a tent in front of our shelter to sell dog treats and stuffed toys to raise money for our shelter. Here is an update from the event:
“Megan Lee (freshman) is the one with long hair, and is the Vice President. Codi Weisz (me) (sophomore) is the President. I started this club with the basic idea of fundraising for four local non-profit organizations. I feel that the start of making the world a better place, is making your community a better place. I started the club this year, and we fund raised about $513 through the calendars and doggy treat sales.” Codi Weisz
Thank you so much Helping Hands Organization! We really appreciate your support and contribution to our shelter. GO RAMS!!
