Idk, and I really don't wanna ask because it'll lead to a never ending conversation! It's weird, he talks about flying back to Belfast all the time and definitely doesn't sound like he has a ROI accent, but he never corrects people when they say he's Irish/from Ireland.
Perhaps he's just got bored of making the distinction? *shrugs*

R [A song that I’ve listened to lots of times recently]: I am starting to wean myself off of Still Into You, so I’ll pick something else - Slayer’s Raining Blood because it keeps coming up on shuffle, and it is against the law to not play Slayer. I think my phone has a problem.
O [A melancholic song]: Skunk Anansie’s I Hope You Get To Meet Your Hero and also Skin’s You’ve Made Your Bed. There are pllllllenty of Skunk Anansie (and Skin) songs I could pick for this, but I’ve played these more than most others. The soundtrack to an angsty weep, maybe.
B [A song to listen to before you go to sleep]: Ahaha, I have a sleep playlist which I used to use to at least try and get to sleep faster between fuck off o’clock F1 sessions. One of the stranger tracks on it is the instrumental Expansion of Blockade from the End of Evangelion soundtrack. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’m a sucker for a string section. VIOLIN APOCALYPSE YAY.

Ah, I do know Gimme Shelter! But yeah, that's one of the songs I like but just never knew the name to! And dang, Wild Horses is really good, don't think I heard that before. Still doesn't displace SFTD for me, but added to the music collection. Ta for the recs!
