Indulge in a luxurious dish of beef steaks smothered in a creamy Parmesan garlic mushroom sauce. This savory recipe is perfect for a cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients: 4 beef steaks. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup sliced mushrooms. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Chopped parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Season beef steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef steaks to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove beef steaks from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are golden brown and fragrant, about 4-5 minutes. Pour in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine. Return beef steaks to the skillet, spooning the creamy mushroom sauce over the top. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the beef steaks are heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
