I'm alive, I'm going through artstyle shifts again and I NOW have time to start drawing again. Before that, let's talk about how Iruka being a teacher has led to 2 opposite headcanons that I keep flip-flopping over:
A.) Iruka is up-to-date with what's popular with kids and their vernacular. Sometimes, he doesn't 100% understand it's meaning, like, what the fuck is skibidi, but he'll eventually learn, usually from other students. Then sighs dramatically when inappropriate slang is being used and has to stop the kids from saying them. He'll accidentally say slang in front of his peers who look at him like he's crazy and he just FEELS the heat on his face as the word escapes him. If kids hear him say any slang or knows references, they go WILD. They want him to know these things and he learns, whether he wanted to or not.
OR
B.) Iruka is NOT up-to-date at all & is so visibly confused when he hears the kids use it. He misuses slang if he even attempts to use it. Kids cringe when they hear him TRY, Iruka-sensei, that's not what gyatt means, please stop. They purposely misguide him on what it means, which makes him know even less. They fear what he'll learn from them but also at the same time, seeing his sheer confusion on what they say is amusing. Also sometimes, him saying it accidentally right is the funniest thing to these kids but he just never remembers to get it right. It's a roll of the die if him saying shit like rizzler will be funny or cringe to them.
Either or has the potential of being fucking hilarious to me. That is all ❤️ now to draw
As I focus on making Iruka's squad, should I push the rivals to lovers trope onto teen Iruka regarding his male teammate, Masaru, or should he be a single pringle? Choices, choices.
I want to make more interactive pieces before dropping the designs so hold tight!
Fuck it, I'm tired of trying to be absolutely perfect with my art before posting. We ballin now
I'm not arting like I want & I'm about to cry over it in a hot second. Also, please, if you guys are also seeing Iruka in a specific suit too, I NEED TO KNOW WHERE IT'S COMING FROM. Keep the mini trend alive while I fight for my life 😭
