LOOOOORD DO I AGREE. And not just with HP— that counts for any fandom. I’m iffy about characters that are directly linked to a canon character in general, and there’s only a few I ever really came to care about tbh.

Y E S. I tend to just shy away from canon-related characters in general nowadays. Saves a lot of frustration. :x

I feel you. I mean, people always say I nail Lan Fan— but she’s so complex it’s sometimes really tiring to play her. With OC’s there’s just less pressure because you created them, there’s no one who can tell you what they should be like.

Yeah, yeah, right. I know that a lot of people - me too - say that about your Lan Fan. I guess, you saw how much I complained about playing Envy - one of the problems is the pressure to stay in character. Once I excused myself for eventually getting out of character because I haven't played as it for some time - I lost one or two followers right after that. 

That's exactly what I think. Who should tell you how your character feels or what they do? It's a relief for playing a canon character.
