“So.” His gaze slides over to his befeathered acquaintance. Time to ask another possibly unwelcome question. But Kirishima is just so curious. “Are you more goth or emo, do you think?”

It’s late and anyone in their right mind would be trying to sleep at this hour-- aside from a select few, of course. As for Kirishima: he’s not particularly in his right mind with a thought, a concern, weighing down in his chest. Having overheard Tokoyami’s ordeal, a hushed conversation between Midoriya and Iida that he had no doubt not been intended to intrude upon, he could not shake the worry that had settled over him.

Which brings him to his classmate’s door-- which he’s surprised to note that there seems to be some light spilling from the crack under the door. Wasn’t Tokoyami’s room always dark?

Pushing away any misgivings, he raps lightly on the door. Not so loud as to wake up someone who may be sleeping, but enough to be heard if the room’s occupant was awake.

“--Hey, Tokoyami? You up?”
