The Extra Decides to Fake It by Cassiopeia, LEJ and tenja

Synopsis:

A child shows up claiming to be Duke Maynard’s long-lost daughter, but he’s skeptical. However, Lilian came with proof, her best friend Swan’s locket, stolen from the orphanage’s headmaster’s office. After Swan died from an illness, Lilian heard the headmaster talking about Swan’s origins and his ruined plans to use her to gain the duke’s favor. She decides to stop living as an extra and live the life Swan was supposed to have.

My thoughts:

This Manhwa started out really strong, with a great story and really nice art. Somewhere at around chapter 40 was a hiatus though and after that the story was incredibly rushed. The characters felt a little off, the art was different (but I do't know if the Artist changed?) and everything happened at fullspeed. Also, there was a second timeskip - one happened before the hiatus and had Liliana grow up to age 17 - that made little sense to me. It was to have Liliana learn to control her powers, which she then never really used lol

I finished reading this Manhwa on January 13th, 2025

Dubheart have definitely been on my radar a fair bit recently.  This is their first official track from the forthcoming 'Mental Slavery' album, though I'm not entirely sure what it's called.  I have a VIP of it called 'Binghi Riddim' if that's any help though.
