I'm doing my annual playthrough of Dragon Quest XI, so that means I must draw Hendrik.

So I have groups of four characters that are kind of parallels of the others.

The first four are inspired by the four criminals in Chinese mythology, but also based on four poisonous flowers (I'm thinking on making a separate long post about all these). They're just lore characters, but they're the ones who messed everything up. :)

#2 are reviving what #1 did, #3 are messed up little babies who are the ones to end everything, and #4 are the heroes that will finally resolve everything.

#1 and #4 have their own personal flowers so I had to go dang, now I have to assign flowers to everyone else. lol Yazla and Soreya already had flowers, so I had to meticulously find flowers that fit everyone even if it was really annoying (candytuft).

These were fun to work on, but I can't do another set of 4 pictures again omg.
