[Story] Candy Wrappers and Food Crumbs (Dopple, Tennebris)
"This place is a mess... " Dopple sighed while shaking his head. The first thing Dopple noticed when he entered the room was candy wrappers and food crumbs on the floor, a messy twin bed, and the smell of someone who didn't always clean up old food right away. The mirrorman coughed once before getting to work.
First thing he did was take the bed coverings and shake them out onto the floor to get potential clothing and food out of them. He then took them to the washing machine. Tenebris was out bothering Lux so Dopple knew he'd be gone long enough to get the load into the dryer.
He then replaced the sheets with new ones, made the bed, and fluffed the pillows. It'd probably annoy Tennebris to find his room clean, but if he did it himself in the first place it wouldn't be a problem to begin with. Dopple set the uneaten snacks on the shelf and outright threw away the trash or food that had already expired. He swept the trash off the floor and dumped it in the bin in the kitchen.
Checking the time, he listened for any movement or indication the room's owner would return anytime soon.
One... Two... Three... Nothing? Good.
He continued to clean the rest of the room to the point he even got on his hands and knees and scrubbed the floors. This work would go unappreciated, he knew, but at least he'd feel better coming in to new stains instead of ones that continued to pile up. The cleaner he used smelled gross but at least it was doing its job well.
Forty-five minutes later the mirror man was finished. Somehow he had gone uninterrupted whilst cleaning and he was thankful for that. However, the amount of things he had to throw away, reorganize, and scrub would definitely give away that someone had invaded the room. Dopple jumped through the mirror temporarily to replenish the amount of food thrown away, placed them in a gift box with an apology note, and left them on the bed for Tennebris to easily find.
He slipped back through the mirror in time to avoid the Darkiplier's return.
