From Me To You | Animated Short Film 2024 by tennncho
A very dear animation about young love at fantastical conservatorium. I like the simple pallet tennncho used, as it really allowed for some great play with contrasts of color, and light/shadow. The uniforms are I also think their choice to keep the facial feature simple, but expressive, allowed them to demonstrate alot of emotion and intention of the characters through their full form, like the lingering look back over a shoulder, or the simple joy of overhearing a song. The uniforms all the characters are wearing also also very fashionable in a fantasy setting sort of way, but I am a sucker for greens and blues. There was also really good moments of detailed animation, like when a braid of hair gently slips behind a characters back, revealing a hopeful truth.
