Hi, I'm a bit embarrassed to say this, but as it stands, I am having some troubles paying for my De Quervains physiotherapy treatment.
I was told i need to undergo 10 sessions, all of them combined costing 220$
Here are donation links since thats the only way I can get money in this damn country. And an explanation is under cut.
My boosty
My hipolink
I have already spent a bunch of money visiting different doctors over the span of half a year, since for a long time no one could diagnose me. And I am starting to struggle with the amount of savings I have left.
I am in no way starving! I don't want you to think im like, on the verge of being homeless. Im fine. But I am in pain, and I need treatment. I'm hoping it'll help and I won't need a surgery.
I got the inflammation from overworking on my art, and, honestly, art is my whole life. And now, I'm VERY limited in that aspect. I am working through pain on the fuel of sheer determination. Also because I have deadlines..
DON'T donate if you're struggling yourself. I'll be FINE. There are many way worse fates than tendon inflammation. I'm expecting some help from my parents, but my mom is not very rich, and my dad is.. well.. mad at me for having the injury in the first place.
I need 220$ or 17000rub, but I put 19000 goal on my boosty(please don't be mad) because all donation platforms take 15% away
I also still take commissions! Just.. it takes long to do. And I only take sketch commissions right now.. but I still take them!! I'll draw you something if you want!
I'll be happy with any amount. But, if I, out of some grand miracle, get more money than I need, I promise I'll spend it on making more videos! Also like, maybe a small comic about my characters? I honestly don't know what people want, but I hope I'll appeal to you. I'll draw something pretty and nice and cool!
Just.. not much.. since I don't really want the injury to repeat..
Sadly, I can't do ko-fi or gofundme because those don't support russian cards. So.. will have to stick with the donation sites<:3
I have weak wrists. I regularly get tenosynovitis on both my wrists, usually one at a time. It’s an inflammation where the joint becomes super painful and you can’t move it without being in a lot of pain. So I’ve been getting these a LOT in the past few years, they just started occuring.
I think it’s not normal, unlike I thought at first (I draw and play and write, after all). Now I have it simultaneously on both my wrists at the same time and wooh boy... I need to get this checked out. If something’s really fucked up in my wrists and I don’t get it checked out I might do permanent damage to them, and that would mean goodbye to drawing forever. o___o
Hey my dear friends :) Just want to update you, sadly I won’t be able to update any of my stories for the time being. I can’t use my right hand, due to a type writers cramp/tenosynovitis. I’ve had it these past months and now I can’t move my hand properly anymore. As soon as I can go back to writing, I’ll let you know.
Look who has to completely stop working again :( going to be reading and watching films a lot for a week. Hopefully I can resume working next week. Getting back into painting will probably take me a bit longer, though.
My productiveness comics-wise may slow down in the next few weeks (I have some buffer scheduled to post for just such eventualities but it buys me maybe a month). My wrist started hurting pretty badly last weekend, including my thumb seeming to pop out of place when I move my wrist laterally. Seems like I may have finally, after 39 years of life and almost as long drawing every day, gotten drawing related De Quervain's tenosynovitis, which basically means the tendons around my wrist are swollen, and the only thing that helps is either resting the wrist and thumb for a few weeks or surgery. I’m going to try to avoid the latter as much as possible, so I’ll probably get a brace and try not to draw with my wrist as much, which will definitely slow things down.
