The snow was pretty intense as we left Buffalo and entered the Bighorn National Forest. Our route was supposed to be pretty scenic, but we were driving through a whiteout and couldn't see much of anything. Luckily we were behind a big snow plow so the roads weren't too slippery. It wasn't until we started coming down from higher elevations that the snow gave way to fog and we started to see some beautiful views peak through.
The fog lifted and revealed a beautiful canyon just before we drove through Tensleep!
