Are Krampus and Satan related somehow? I mean both in a jokingly lore-ish sense, but also... like... why goats? Why are evil creatures so often associated with goats? Because they headbutt you? Goats are cute, man!

This was supposed to be a Krampus but kinda went in a more devilish kind of direction. Therefore my ponderings.

And now for the human form of Bompaka Fumu Malundama (”old king who knows secret things”). 

I imagined Bompaka to look like an incredibly old but strangely healthy looking man (he is supposedly 300 years old) that normally weary a thick cape to hide his less human features.  Through years and years of service to Yog Sothoth his body has changed. Tentacles have grown out of his back, head and neck aaaaaand they have a life on their own. He also is, or better was, a mage of great power with 30 Magic Points and a will of 120, he is a danger to confront. He also knows 14 spells like the “fist of Yog Sothoth” and a lot of other fight and summon spells. 

Again he nearly wiped my whole group and could only be defeated by Anoras mother.

Anyway I can not tell you from where that mini originally came, because I bought it in an antic shop some years ago. I, of course, added the dagger, the skull and the tentacles. :-)

... Or am I being prejudiced against tentacle-faced people? Like, just assuming they are related or know each other because they look similar to me? o_O

Back to Call of Cthulhu. Yea my Skaven are done for now, so I wanted to get back to more mythos-like monsters. 

I know a Starspawn of Cthulhu is usually painted in green hues, sometimes blue but usually not purple. But I just felt like a purple, more eldritch looking Starspawn woudl be a fun idea and so there he is. :-)

This mini was made by “Reaper Miniatures” (https://www.reapermini.com) and is part of their very affordable “Bones” collection. 

As is I have not yet had a chance to confront my players with this little beauty but a DM always finds a way. :-)

So, the thing is, I struggle with emotions a great deal. I have difficulty recognising and identifying them in myself and others. However, it's just occurred to me that this is never an issue for me when I think about how I feel about @tentacleface and @punch-and-pie. We bicker and shit and we go for long periods of time without talking, but they're still my favourite people and I adore them for many reasons. And having that makes me feel just that little bit better.
