In the story of WEST there are outlaws, gangs, and desperadoes, and their lawful counterparts in deputies, posses, and sheriffs.
However, there are also individuals who swim around in the moral grey area in-between. The most prominent of these are bounty-hunters.
Juanita Tequila (left), and Ramira Tequila (right) are perhaps one of the more accomplished teams of bounty hunters. Known together as “The Tequila Sisters” or “The Tequila Twins” they specialize in performing retrieval or assassination operations deep into the West for wealthy clients back East. Half-human, and half-rattlesnake (crossbreeding between anthro characters and humans in WEST is possible), they both possess venom in their fangs which they can administer with a bite. Each sister’s venom serves as an antidote to the others depending on who’s enters your blood first.
They use this strategically by usually biting their victim and then withholding the antidote bite from the other twin until the victim surrenders and agrees to turn themselves in to them. Without that second bite the survival rate of their venom is 25%-30%. For assassination missions a single bite is administered before shadowing the person and finishing them off when they are heavily weakened by pain, fever, and delirium from the venom before giving them a chance to possibly recover.
They are a constant background element in the story, as they have been paid a very LARGE SUM of money to track down a certain member of the Eastwood posse and bring them back East...
