“Y and Lucas have dropped in at the last moment to help contribute to the fireworks. The latter of which volunteered to launch the fireworks, to which everyone else reluctantly agreed. ... They just wish that he’d aim a little higher, since those things are exploding a little too close at the moment.”
I’m not sure how, but we somehow made it through 2020. This year has been particularly tough, between the constant negativity that gripped me for the first few months, the coronavirus becoming incredibly widespread, one last temper tantrum from a sore loser, my near constant thoughts about how worthless everything I do is, and now probably the worst Christmas of my entire life.
I know that this year in particular was hard on a lot of people, and I don’t even know what to say in regards to everyone that’s suddenly gone this year... … Well, here’s hoping that 2021 is less shit.
The Outcast Gang has been relatively silent for a good while... Tera was pacing back and forth at the bottom of the steps in the common ground. She’d really been hoping to kick the new year off with a new her, and hopefully be able to leave all the chaos that this year has brought behind her.
Elysia approached Tera, holding something in a cloth as she smiled. By her side was Dust, Rosie, and even Selena had come to watch what was about to unfold.
“I’ve heard you have been looking to evolve by New Years, and I know Christmas is less than a week away but...” She held out the item. “I decided to get this back in the Horizon Continent before we left.”
Tera slowly took the wrapped item and pulled it open cautiously, revealing a Thunderstone. Briefly taking off her mask, she wiped a fear tears from her eyes, a bright smile on her face. “Heh. Normally I’d ask where ya got this, but I’m not one to pry. You certainly have your secrets, and I’m cool with it.” Her gaze turned downwards to lock onto the evolution stone again.
“Here goes nothing...”
“Here goes nothing.”
Taking a breath to ready herself, she slowly placed her paw on the crystal. She could feel the electricity coursing into her, giving her a new kind of power. Her body lit up with a blue and white glow, lighting up the entire area. A few stray bolts impacted the ground around her.
She began to grow slightly, her tail taking on a more lightning bolt-esque shape, while becoming a bit fluffy. Her ears became like that of a Kanto Raichu’s, except instead of curling outwards, they curled inwards creating a small spiral. Slowly, the glow began to fade, revealing her darker orange fur, yellow cheek pouches, brown paws, and light cream colored stomach. Opening her eyes, they had turned a blue that faded to golden at the lower edge. An aura of psychic energy was surrounding her, allowing her to float off the ground a short distance.
“Say hello to the new Tera!” she announced to her friends, a toothy grin spreading across her face.
( I’ve had the images for this drawn for a while tbh. )
Now that I’ve actually established which of my characters are at the event, I guess now’s a good time as any to make one of these. Reblog this post if you want an ask from any of the characters at the event.
Dust the Chimera
Tera the Pikachu
Rosie the Gardevoir
Elysia the Gardaixen
Selena the Nucleon
Also the entire gang is open for event-related asks as well.
Dust has finally landed just a bit outside of the grounds for the event, causing a minor explosion of snow. He pulls three Pokeballs off of his waist and throws them into the air with a flourish, letting Tera, Rosie, and Elysia out, who all just stare at him.
“You never change, do you Dust,” Tera said with a sigh, shaking her head. Though there was a small smile on her face. “You’re still reckless as ever...”
Dust: *steals the Fire Sword*
Rosie: Dust what do you have?
Dust: A KNIFE! :3 *runs off*
Rosie: NO!
Please stand by, Dust is currently at large, armed, and dangerous. We’ve got our best experts hunting him down to bring him to justice.
He was last seen heading down the Road to Dawn west-northwest towards the corner of the river. Team Daybreak and Team Eclipse are setting up a barricade to prevent him from attempting to cross it, even though there isn’t even a bridge in that direction.
“It’s been fun, but we really must be on our way,” Rosie said, giving a bow to the people remaining at the event.
“Elysia’s gonna die when she sees all this candy.” Tera let out a snicker, holding a bag of candy. Dust just stared at her.
“When did you get that?”
“I never reveal my secrets, mortal.” The Pikachu stuck out her tongue.
“Mortal? I’m part freakin’ legendary!” Dust begins chasing the Pikachu, both of them laughing. Rosie, watching all of this unfold, lets out a small giggle of her own. She then ran after her friends, heading back to the Horizon Continent.
