1.     in the maze,   she shared not only a leadership    but a  close relationship  with  harriet  who  knows her  every weakness & strength,   fears & accomplishments,  they know each other pretty much.    beth  was one of her greatest friends too,    even though she was hard to deal with  ;  sonya  was  like  an  older  sister,  stopping her from running wild.    i like to think that sonya and newt used to talk a lot throughout the scorch            or sonya would talk   &    newt would just keep walking with his everlasting grumpy face.     but it was more like a comfortable silence at times y'kno.     and,  eventually,  her friendship with minho & brenda  grew as they became more of a family in the paradise.

2.     rachel never seemed like a regular newcomer to sonya.   she had such valiant eyes  &  a larger amount of questions than the usual  &  her  quietness  sometimes  would  make  you  feel  intimidated  if  you  didn’t  know  she  was  scared  too.    but she was brilliant.  sonya will always remember her as a brilliant  &  brave  girl   (  who had a tragic & unfair end. )   the guilt of her death often burdens in sonya’s shoulders. 

3.    A BOY???  uGH.  no way sir come back to where you came from.  //  no but seriously though,  i don’t think any of the girls (  aside from rachel ofc  ) were very friendly with him at first.   i  mean,   none of them would like the ideia of having a skinny boy telling them what to do.  &  everything started to change,  things became more suspicious by the second  &  it was very hard to trust him completely  but…  eventually,  as things happened very fast,  i think they managed to come to an agreement for the sake of their escape.  only afterwards, some sort of friendship started to rise between the two of them.    she thinks he has never truly healed from rachel’s death,      but he’s a fighter   &    a great friend.

4.  i feel like sonya went a bit harsh on teresa at first  &  feels deeply sorry for that.  like, it wasn’t on purpose, but due to the recent events at the time  ;  she was confused  &  feeling like no one was trustworthy enough.  she was angry  at what happened so maybe she thought that she could just roll with it  &  play her part at teresa’s plan to kidnap thomas.     she thinks that teresa is a true force of nature  &  that she was unfairly misunderstood.

5.  she  never  really  thought  about  enjoying  it,  to  be   honest.     it was like the job just fit.   it comes off naturally,   she has the NERVE & PATIENCE to deal with critical situations.  her  mind  provides  creative  thoughts,   that’s how (  alongside harriet  )   she came up with a few rules to keep things in order,  to not cause any more panic.  she cared for her girls,  she would talk to each one of them so they would feel brave instead of scared.  being scared wouldn’t get them out of there.     she wasn’t soft,  though.   she kept everything pretty much realistic,  she could be kind  & tough.   &  knew how to handle things without falling apart.       and i think it makes her strong.    and perfect for the role.      it just        fits. 

 6.  she’d definitely be the MOM FRIEND. she’d fight anyone who'd dare to mess with her friends despite the fact that she’s 5′3 lol.   wears pastels frequently  &  prob the gayest kid in school 8)  also very good grades  &  just v sociable in general,  she’d probably make crowns out of daisies for anyone who wanted to be her friend.    def an    ANIMAL LOVER     &     a little bit of a greedy heartbreaker !
