I really love cataloging my special interest digital media, mostly pics and videos from fandoms including a LOOOT of swanqueen stuff, I've gathered the media over the last 8 years and I just discovered a bunch of files from my old sd card that I accidentally deleted and paid a lot of money to restore because at the time it was like the world was ending because my entire work of downloading the pics and vids was gone, anyway I'm now sorting through those old files and I'm so glad I found them again because there are a lot of gems that I otherwise wouldn't have rediscovered, among those is a lot of AHS stuff and I'm lowkey getting invested again lol, not in a rekindling a retired special interest way, more like looking back on good old times and feeling nostalgic

got really into rdr2 recently and if I get ambitious i might end up starting my longest project yet....

Dunno if I have the endurance to actually finish it though. Might just post chapter one disappear for four years (hopefully build a backlog) and then do a regular update schedule at that point, but honestly who knows if I'll even have to motivation to continue writing by that point...

(partly) loosing my eye sight due to a VERY rare chemo side effect has been a grieving process but also a valuable experience because now I cherish being able to read even more, hopefully my sight returns so I can go back to reading fanfics because I miss it a lot... also never realized how much the world is set up for people without vision impairment and that sucks, but also you can live relatively independent with accommodation and your other senses really so take over for sensory input, your quality of life doesn't have to suffer... it's definitely interesting being part of the blind and low vision community vs just a very passionate disability advocate (and part of a different subgroup of disability) that's kind of an outsider, even if my visual disability is just temporary in the end (no one can tell bc my condition is so rare) I think engaging in the blind and low vision community beforehand has made me feel less scared of possibly having serious visual impairments for the rest of my life, that said it still is hard to accept sometimes that I might never be able to read with ease the way I used to because reading is such an integral part of my passion/identity and plays a huge role in my life

debated getting back into art (I drew for a little bit in middle school) then went and took one look at anatomy and went yeah i think i'll stick to writing
